In the wave of global trade digitalization, how shipping data can further assist customs work is a focal point in the industry. COSCO SHIPPING Lines (COSCO), demonstrating the demeanor of an industry leader, has closely collaborated with the Global Shipping Business Network (GSBN) to achieve another milestone in the field of electronic bills of lading (eBL), providing strong support for customs to verify the authenticity of declaration data.

Recently, the two parties successfully partnered with Colombian Customs to provide an online verification service for electronic bills of lading for Colombian import business. This is also the first solution globally recognized by Colombian Customs.

Colombian importers can now submit the unique QR code from the IQAX eBL to customs officers for real-time authenticity verification through the GSBN Doc Viewer application, ensuring the bill of lading is genuine and valid, greatly enhancing the efficiency of customs verification.
