On the morning of July 8, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. (referred to as “COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers”) and the Guangdong Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (referred to as “Sinosure Guangdong Branch”) held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony at Guangzhou International Finance Center. Zhao Zhongbu, General Manager of Sinosure Guangdong Branch, Huang Nan, General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers, and members of both management teams witnessed the signing. Sun Changchan, Deputy General Manager of Sinosure Guangdong Branch, and Gu Weidong, Deputy General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
Under the agreement, the two parties will establish a regular and multi-dimensional communication and coordination mechanism to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of international logistics and transportation services. Sinosure Guangdong Branch will leverage the unique role of policy-based export credit insurance to assist COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers in continuously improving its risk management system and effectively addressing international economic and trade risks.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the two sides held discussions. COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers introduced its business development progress, while Sinosure Guangdong Branch highlighted its credit insurance services and shared prospects for future collaboration. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on how to better utilize policy-based export credit insurance tools to support the expansion of specialized transportation services in international markets and enhance risk management.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks a new phase in the partnership between the two parties. Taking this opportunity, they will further integrate their respective strengths and leverage policy-based financial instruments to fully support COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers in accelerating its global business expansion, enhancing international competitiveness, and advancing toward the goal of becoming a “world-leading specialized shipping company.” Together, they will contribute to stabilizing and improving China’s foreign trade and ensuring the security and stability of international logistics and supply chains.
