The Costa Rican Institute of Pacific Ports (Incop) is advancing in the concession process for the modernization of the infrastructure and equipment of Puerto Caldera, following the resolution of the Comptroller General of the Republic that rejected the objection appeal filed against the bidding notice.
With this result, the bidding process continues according to the established schedule and on November 7 in Puntarenas the official opening of the bids for the public works concession with public service will take place.
“This project represents a historic milestone for the country. Caldera requires a modern, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure that meets the current and future needs of foreign trade,” said Wagner Quesada Céspedes, executive president of Incop.
“We appreciate the trust and commitment of all the technical, legal, and administrative teams who have worked with transparency and responsibility to reach this stage,” Wagner highlighted.
