Terminal Pacífico Sur (TPS) received the fourth cruise ship of the 2025-2026 season, which was realized with the arrival of Le Boreal at Site No. 5 of the Port of Valparaíso. It will be managed by A.J. Broom.

With this, eight passenger vessels have now arrived at the port facility so far in this tourism period, which began on October 12 at TPS with the call of the Silver Endeavour.

Terminal No. 1 also served Le Lyrial and Silver Cloud. Meanwhile, the other four cruise ships docked at the Terminal Portuario Valparaíso (TPV), being the case for the Fritjof Nansen, Viking Polaris, Sylvia Earle and Viking Octantis.

The itineraries of Le Boreal include stops in Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Bahía Grave, Lembata, Antarctica and the Drake Passage. The ship, launched in 2010 from the Fincantieri facilities in Italy, belongs to the Ponant Cruises fleet.

The Le Boreal, with a capacity for 264 passengers, is distinguished by its ecological technologies and high standards. It was designed to attract the French market, which is why it resembles a large private yacht more than a traditional cruise ship.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the next cruise ship to arrive at the Port of Valparaíso will be the Hanseatic Inspiration. The vessel is scheduled to arrive on December 5.
