Daniamant has upgraded its ML series marker lights with higher light intensity, extended battery life and a new green light option aimed at marine, offshore and aquaculture operations. The Danish marine safety equipment supplier says the enhancements are designed to support safer navigation and reduce maintenance demands across remote maritime installations.

Danish marine safety equipment manufacturer Daniamant has upgraded its ML-100, ML-200 and ML-300 marker lights as vessel operators, offshore developers and port authorities continue investing in more reliable navigation and asset marking systems.

The updated range introduces higher luminous intensity, longer operational battery life and a new green light variant alongside the existing white, yellow and red models. Daniamant said the improvements are intended to strengthen visibility and operational reliability across demanding marine environments including offshore wind farms, ports, aquaculture facilities and navigation zones.

The company said the upgraded models offer stronger visibility in poor weather and low-light conditions, helping crews and operators improve hazard marking and asset identification at sea. Maximum peak intensity now reaches 86 candela for white lights and 62 candela for the new green version.

Battery endurance has also been extended through revised power management and energy efficiency improvements. Daniamant said the ML-100 can now operate for up to 85 days, while the ML-200 can run for as long as 600 days under specified operating conditions. Reduced maintenance intervals are expected to appeal to operators managing remote offshore sites and difficult-to-access marine infrastructure.

The ML series shares the company’s programmable ML-EL Light Unit, which can be configured to IALA flash codes and daylight settings for different operational requirements.

Kevin Rough, CEO at Daniamant, said: “The enhanced ML-100, ML-200, and ML-300 marker lights continue to set the benchmark for reliability, visibility, and operational efficiency in the global marine sector.”

He added: “These latest marker light upgrades reflect our commitment to delivering robust, high-performance solutions that meet the highest industry standards across diverse applications.”
