Oslo – Deme has been awarded a contract worth between 50 and 150 million euros for the transport and installation of the inter-array cables for the Nordseecluster B offshore wind farm, located off Germany. This was announced by the company itself in a statement. The Nordseecluster is a joint project between Rwe (51%) and Norges Bank Investment Management (49%). The area is located approximately 50 kilometers north of the island of Juist, in the German North Sea, and brings together several offshore wind sites for a total capacity of up to 1.6 GW, sufficient to supply electricity to 1.6 million households
