The Prefect of Livorno, Giancarlo Dionisi, will be the new extraordinary commissioner of the Darsena Europa. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure, Matteo Salvini, on the sidelines of his arrival in Livorno for an event organized by the Lega as part of the regional elections on October 12 and 13.
To journalists, the Deputy Prime Minister said he had met with Confindustria, the trade unions, and the commissioner of the AdSP, Davide Gariglio, to whom he would have communicated his intention to rely on the Prefect for the future of the maxi dock.
Speaking to Il Tirreno, the current extraordinary commissioner for the project, Luciano Guerrieri, announced that he will tender his resignation within this week, just enough time to ensure an adequate handover with the new commissioner.
