Recently, Xinneng Shipbuilding successfully passed the Level 3 assessment of the Capability Maturity Model for Smart Manufacturing (CMMM), becoming the first enterprise in the domestic inland shipbuilding industry to pass this national authoritative certification at Level 3. This milestone achievement marks that Xinneng Shipbuilding’s intelligent development level has received national authoritative recognition, officially ranking among the advanced ranks of national smart manufacturing, fully demonstrating the company’s solid strength and industry-leading position in the field of inland ship smart manufacturing.
It is reported that CMMM is a national authoritative certification system led by the China Electronics Standardization Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The assessment is strictly based on two national standards: GB/T39116-2020 “Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model” and GB/T39117-2020 “Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Assessment Method.” The evaluation starts from four core elements: personnel, technology, resources, and manufacturing, comprehensively considering the enterprise’s full-dimensional development level of digitalization, networking, and intelligence. The maturity levels are divided from low to high into Level 1 (Planning Level), Level 2 (Standardization Level), Level 3 (Integration Level), Level 4 (Optimization Level), and Level 5 (Leading Level). Among them, Level 3 (Integration Level) sets strict mandatory entry thresholds, requiring enterprises to achieve cross-system data sharing and business collaboration, full-chain linkage of core businesses, digital workshop coverage of over 80%, and truly implement data-driven production and operation decisions. It is a core benchmark for measuring the comprehensive smart manufacturing strength of domestic manufacturing enterprises.
Xinneng Shipbuilding has always adhered to the development concept of “building green intelligent shipyards and building green intelligent ships,” anchoring the goal of creating the country’s first inland new energy ship manufacturing demonstration base integrating R&D, design, and smart manufacturing, and continuously deepening digital transformation and intelligent upgrading. The assessment scope comprehensively covered the entire business chain of inland ship design, production, sales, and service. The company successively completed all stages of evaluation, including pre-assessment, formal assessment, weak point rectification, and expert committee review. Through standardized operations such as evidence sorting, on-site inspection, and system verification, it completed a comprehensive verification of 18 capability sub-domains including data integration, information security, process design, production operations, and safety and environmental protection, ultimately passing the certification with outstanding intelligent construction achievements.
