Following the commissioning of two 600-ton gantry cranes, two 500-ton gantry cranes, and one 700-ton gantry crane, on November 10, Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully installed another 700-ton capacity gantry crane (total height 72 meters, span 60 meters, self-weight 1100 tons). The company will continue to optimize and upgrade equipment such as gantry cranes in the future to further enhance the company’s hardware capabilities.
It is understood that Donghong Shipbuilding was established in July 2004, located by the Shippu Port in Ningbo City, with a registered capital of 110 million RMB. The company has a 625-meter coastline, a water depth of 10 meters at the forefront, covers an area of over 700 mu, has an annual steel consumption of 150,000 tons, and an annual shipbuilding capacity exceeding 600,000 deadweight tons.
Donghong Shipbuilding possesses 8 shipbuilding berths, including two 150,000-ton class, one 120,000-ton class, one 100,000-ton class, one 60,000-ton class, one 30,000-ton class, and two 20,000-ton class berths, capable of meeting the construction needs from small and medium-sized ships to large ocean-going vessels. Donghong Shipbuilding’s products cover bulk carriers, container ships, oil tankers, chemical tankers, asphalt carriers, multi-purpose vessels, special transport ships, engineering ships, and fishing vessels.
