DSV, a global operator in the transport and logistics sector, announces the completion of the integration with DB Schenker, acquired from Deutsche Bahn for 14.3 billion euros last April 30th in a transaction that strengthened DSV’s position as a global leader, expanding its network, expertise, and operational capabilities to serve customers worldwide.

The integration, which led to the unification of the operational structures, digital platforms, and business processes of the two entities, has created a global multimodal platform capable of offering end-to-end solutions by road, sea, air, and contract logistics, ensuring greater efficiency, speed, and transparency across the entire supply chain, for the benefit of customers and partners in over 90 countries.

The new managerial structure confirms Davide Uracchi in the role of managing director of DSV Contract Logistics in Italy, while Roberto Scarrone, previously head of Land Transport for the Schenker Italy Cluster, has been appointed managing director of DSV Road in Italy. Alfredo Gaio, already executive vice president for Italy and Israel, assumes the position of senior vice president Mediterranean Region and managing director of DSV Air & Sea in Italy. Finally, Martino Caroli, former cfo of the Schenker Italy Cluster, becomes vice president Finance Europe Mediterranean and cfo Italy. Rossella Valier is also confirmed as senior director Human Resources of DSV in Italy.

With the merger, the DSV group has reached approximately 160,000 employees in over 90 countries, strengthening its ability to offer customers extended global coverage, end-to-end logistics services by road, sea, and air, in addition to contract logistics. The integration of processes and digital platforms allows for greater efficiency, transparency, and speed across the entire supply chain, while the generated synergies ensure financial stability and long-term sustainability, consolidating DSV as a reliable strategic partner for customers worldwide.
