The units will be built at the Hengli Shipbuilding shipyards in China
Beijing – Dynacom Tankers, led by George Procopiou, is expanding its massive newbuilding program with the purchase of four VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers) at the Hengli Shipbuilding shipyards in China. According to Trade Winds, this is the latest in a series of resale operations completed by the Chinese shipyard, following a similar transaction signed last month with John Fredriksen’s Seatankers for a similar group of ships.
