The European Organisation calls on the IMO member states to formally adopt the Net-Zero framework, noting that this global initiative is a vital step towards decarbonisation.
It also calls on the European Commission to ensure the maximum possible alignment between the IMO framework and existing EU measures, such as FuelEU Maritime and the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS).
