The signing of an agreement for the construction of two reefer containerships with a carrying capacity of 2,800 TEUs was announced by Euroseas Ltd.
The vessels will be built at the Chinese shipyards Huanghai Shipbuilding Co. and are expected to be delivered in June and August of 2028. The Nasdaq-listed company will pay $46.35 million for each vessel, while it will finance the transaction with bank borrowing and equity.
