Specifically, in the first half of 2026, Evergreen Marine’s cumulative operating revenue reached NT$191.67 billion (approximately US$6.05 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%; gross profit was NT$37.37 billion (approximately US$1.18 billion), down 28.1% year-on-year; operating profit was NT$28.31 billion (approximately US$890 million), down 35.3% year-on-year; pre-tax net profit was NT$31.50 billion (approximately US$990 million), down 33.4% year-on-year; net profit for the first half was NT$25.03 billion (approximately US$790 million), down 36.1% year-on-year; and net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was NT$24.34 billion (approximately US$770 million), down 36.5% year-on-year, or earnings per share of NT$11.24.

According to the latest data from Alphaliner, among the world’s top 100 liner shipping companies by capacity, Evergreen Marine ranks 7th globally, operating 242 ships, including 168 owned vessels and 74 chartered vessels, with total capacity reaching 2.023 million TEU. In addition, Evergreen Marine holds newbuilding orders for 76 vessels totaling 868,000 TEU.
