Everstream Analytics has joined forces with FreightWaves and SONAR to bring advanced weather risk analytics into the SONAR platform. The integration gives logistics professionals access to predictive tools that help them plan around climate volatility and supply chain disruptions.
Everstream Analytics has announced a partnership with FreightWaves and its SONAR platform to integrate advanced weather risk analytics into one of the freight industry’s most widely used data systems. The agreement will make Everstream’s predictive weather insights available to more than one million SONAR users and over 500 global enterprises.
The collaboration aims to improve decision-making across the supply chain, from day-to-day execution to long-term strategic planning. By combining Everstream’s 15 years of specialized weather analytics with SONAR’s high-frequency freight market intelligence, logistics companies will gain a clearer picture of risks tied to extreme weather and climate shifts.
“Our weather insights are most powerful when combined with industry and operational data, transforming raw information into forward-looking intelligence,” said Paige Cox, Chief Product Officer at Everstream Analytics. “Unlike reactive alerts, Everstream’s AI-augmented predictive engine anticipates disruptions before they occur. Partnering with the SONAR ecosystem allows us to deliver these insights at scale, empowering thousands of companies across the global supply chain to act with speed and confidence. We’re excited to bring this next generation of risk intelligence to such an extensive and engaged user base.”

Everstream provides an end-to-end supply chain risk management platform that uses artificial intelligence, proprietary data, and analytics to help businesses anticipate disruptions. Its technology has helped companies save millions of dollars annually by predicting and mitigating the impact of weather-related challenges.
For SONAR, the partnership expands the scope of its freight market intelligence, which is built on billions of data points updated daily. Craig Fuller, CEO and Founder of FreightWaves and SONAR, said the integration would give users access to a more advanced layer of operational forecasting. “We have been testing and using weather analytics for years and understand the enormous potential for companies to optimize their operations for increasingly volatile weather,” Fuller said. “We also understand the gain from having weather analytics insights that have been developed and tested over many years. Everstream’s proven track record in weather intelligence makes them the ideal partner to bring this critical capability to our SONAR platform users.”
Unlike generic weather forecasts, the integrated system applies meteorology directly to supply chain operations. Everstream’s team of experienced meteorologists and data scientists processes billions of data points each day, delivering intelligence that logistics operators can use to adjust routes, manage capacity, and plan more effectively.
With climate volatility continuing to challenge global supply chains, both companies believe the partnership will provide businesses with the tools to stay ahead of disruptions and operate with greater confidence.
