Federlogística Ibérica has just been officially established in Madrid, a new business association born as a direct extension of Federlogística Nazionale (Italy). Its goal: to strengthen logistic relations between Italy and Spain, and to offer concrete support to companies and producers along the entire logistics chain, in both export and import processes.
The constitutive assembly, held in the Spanish capital, has appointed its representatives: Andrea Lazzari, president; Cristina Martín Lorenzo (Usyncro), vice president; Matteo De Candia (GNV España), vice president, and Maurizio Di Ubaldo, general secretary.
Federlogística Ibérica is born with an integrative and collaborative vocation, and sets several strategic objectives such as supporting Italian entrepreneurs established in Spain, using Spain as a natural logistics hub towards North Africa, opening new business opportunities, as well as establishing synergies with Spanish sector associations and promoting the development of logistics in strategic sectors such as agri-food, automotive, fashion, industry, biomedical and high value-added products.
Davide Falteri, national president of Federlogística, highlighted the relevance of this new stage: “With Federlogística Ibérica we are building a bridge between two strategic Mediterranean countries, making our experience available to open markets and best represent companies. It is a project that reinforces logistics and digitalization as levers for economic growth, creating new opportunities for Italy, Spain, and relations with North Africa”.
