In a statement, Guice Offshore said it had purchased three new PSVs. “We’re very pleased to share the news that Guice Offshore (GO) has expanded our fleet with three new vessels,” the company said.

The vessels will operate as GO Explorer (52-m DP1 MPSV), GO Crusader (62-m DP2 PSV) and GO Adventurer (62-m DP2 MPSV).

“All are Jones Act-qualified and dually certified Subchapter L & I by the US Coast Guard,” Guice Offshore said.

U-Ming Marine Offshore Company Limited (UMO) announced it has acquired two crew transfer vessels (CTVs) and completed their reflagging in a move into Taiwan’s offshore wind market. “U-Ming Shipping and Danish business WMO established U-Ming Wind Energy Shipping Co, Ltd and purchased two secondhand CTV ships UMO Mistral and UMO Scirocco,”U-Ming Marine Transport Corp and World Marine Offshore said in a statement.

The U-Ming announcement of the vessel acquisitions said the companies expected two newbuild CTVs to be delivered in H2 2022.

World Marine Offshore announced the UMO joint venture with U‐Ming Marine Transport Corp in June 2021, in which the companies said they had signed a contract for the construction of two Inertia M3 high-speed passenger cat A CTVs.

All four CTVs have reportedly secured contracts in the Taiwan offshore wind market.

In a LinkedIn post, N-Sea Group said it has entered into an agreement with Braveheart Marine for a long-term charter on the Netherlands-flag DP2 vessel Braveheart Spirit, which N-Sea said is “a modern offshore /support vessel”.

The vessel is formerly known as the DPSV Bourbon Gulf Star and was built in 2010, then acquired in late 2021 by Braveheart Marine, which converted and upgraded the vessel. N-Sea will have the vessel under its full management and control during the charter.

With DP2 station-keeping capabilities, Braveheart Spirit has a carrying capacity of approximately 3,000 dwt, an overall length of 73 m, 17 m width and a draft of 5 m. The vessel is equipped with 30-tonne A-frame ideally suited for towing arrangements, geotechnical survey and other subsea activities.

“It is the ideal vessel to operate in the southern and central North Sea,” N-Sea Group said.

“With the long-term charter of Braveheart Spirit, N-Sea is strengthening its footprint and position in the subsea service industry, following the expansion of the offshore oil and gas and offshore wind markets,” N-Sea chief executive Arno van Poppel said.
