According to the “China Railway” WeChat public account, from January to April this year, railway construction was promoted with high quality and efficiency, with the national railway completing fixed asset investment of 200.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, effectively leveraging its radiating and driving role, injecting new momentum into regional economic and social development.
Since the beginning of this year, China State Railway Group has extensively applied new technologies and new processes, driving positive progress in the construction of a number of key projects. In April, the joint commissioning and testing of the Xi’an to Shiyan High-Speed Railway and the Shandong section of the Xiong’an to Shangqiu High-Speed Railway progressed smoothly, with the maximum test speed reaching 385 kilometers per hour, laying a solid foundation for opening and operation; the Xi’an to Ankang High-Speed Railway and the Wenling to Yuhuan section of the Hangzhou to Shaoxing to Taizhou High-Speed Railway successively initiated static acceptance; all tunnels of the Chongqing to Wanzhou High-Speed Railway were completed; and phased results were achieved in the construction of a batch of key control projects, including the new Chongqing Science City Station on the Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line High-Speed Railway and the Tianjin to Weifang High-Speed Railway’s Jingu Haihe River Tunnel.
