On the 9th, the Liberian “Bangkok” ship loaded with 37,500 tons of Argentine sorghum docked steadily in the Yuanhong operation area of Panasonic Port in Fuzhou Port. It is reported that this is the first import business carried out by the designated supervision site for inbound grain in the Yuanhong operation area after passing the acceptance. This batch of sorghum will be transported to Fujian Shengnong Group as feed raw materials.

After the ship docked, the personnel on duty at the Fuqing Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station immediately activated the “special person docking + exclusive channel” mechanism, and realized the one-time completion of customs clearance procedures through the inspection of “one enterprise, one policy” and “joint boarding” to ensure that the ship had “zero waiting” customs clearance.

The Yuanhong operation area is located in the China-Indonesia “Two Countries and Two Parks” Chinese Park, which passed the acceptance of the General Administration of Customs in May last year and was successfully approved as a designated supervision site for imported grain. The landing of the first ticket business not only opened up a new channel for Fujian’s grain imports, but also injected new momentum into the grain circulation and processing industry of the China-Indonesia “Two Countries and Two Parks” project.

The relevant person in charge of Fuqing Wanye Port Co., Ltd. said that the successful completion of the grain import business marks that the Fuzhou Hong Kong Honghong operation area officially has the function of grain import, forming an industrial agglomeration effect, and promoting the extension and high-quality development of the grain industry chain.
