Another car carrier has left the Grimaldi Euromed fleet.

This is the Grande Baltimora, built in 2007, which, according to the Neapolitan group itself, was sold in recent days to a European owner and has therefore left the Italian flag (in favor of the Maltese one). Delivered in 2017 by the Jinling Shipyard in Nanjing, the ship is 199.9 meters long and 32.26 meters wide. It has a capacity of 6,700 Ceu (Car equivalent unit) (or alternatively 4,000 linear meters of rolling cargo and 2,500 Ceu) and is equipped with a scrubber to reduce sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions.
Initially used by Grimaldi on connections between the Mediterranean and North America, currently, according to maritime tracking sites, it is heading to Southampton after calling at Antwerp.
