GTT announced that it received, in the third quarter of 2025, an order from its partner, the shipyard Hanwha Ocean, for the tank design of a new LNG carrier, on behalf of a shipowner based in North America.
As part of this order, GTT will design the ship’s tanks, which will have a total capacity of 174,000 m³. The tanks will be equipped with the NO96 L03+ membrane containment system developed by GTT.
The ship’s delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.
