▲120TEU Container Ship (Hull No. 4) Holds Keel Laying Ceremony
On September 30, the 120TEU container ship (Hull No. 4) built by Jiangmen Chuantong Shipbuilding held its keel laying ceremony.
This container ship is designed for navigation in the waters under the jurisdiction of Hong Kong. It has an overall length of 69.2 meters, a molded breadth of 24 meters, a molded depth of 6.5 meters, a design draft of 3.5 meters, and a design speed of 10 knots. It is classed by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping. The ship’s hull features an all-welded structure and is equipped with two independent cargo holds, capable of carrying a total of 120 standard containers. It is fitted with a longitudinal hydraulic traveling 30-ton gantry crane for container loading and unloading operations.
Following the completion of the keel laying, the ship has officially entered the berth assembly stage. Subsequently, the ship project department will focus on further optimizing the construction organization and implementing refined management to ensure the successful completion of the shipbuilding task.
