From November 10 to 13, Hanwha Ocean is taking part in Defense & Security 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, where the company is showcasing its naval platforms, including a proposed 4,000-ton class frigate for the Royal Thai Navy’s second frigate program.
The South Korean company emphasized its experience as a long-term partner, recalling the delivery in 2018 of the Royal Thai Navy’s first frigate, HTMS Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Hanwha Ocean said it aims to expand cooperation and enhance competitiveness through new agreements. The company signed Memorandums of Understanding with NAVAL GROUP, MBDA, and Cohort plc to develop high-performance naval solutions for the Royal Thai Navy.
According to Hanwha Ocean, these partnerships are intended to deliver optimized, combat-proven technologies for the second frigate program.
