HMM recorded revenue amounting to USD 1.847 billion during the third quarter of 2025 with a net profit of USD 207.4 million. The operating profit stood at USD 202.7 million USD.

In the cumulative period from the first to the third quarter, earnings reached USD 5.582 billion, net profit USD 1.034 billion, and operating profit USD 781.1 million.

Despite the decrease in freight rates, HMM maintained a stable operating margin of 11%. The Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) averaged 1,481 points in the reviewed period, 52% less than the 3,082 points from the same period the previous year.

The shipping company projected that market conditions are expected to remain weak in the fourth quarter, due to the traditional year-end low season.

Likewise, it anticipated continued uncertainty due to the evolution of US tariff policies. Faced with the aforementioned scenario, the company assured that it is optimizing its operations, adjusting port calls and the deployment of vessels on trade routes.

HMM indicated that it is focusing on high-yield cargo segments, such as refrigerated cargo, out-of-gauge shipments, and other special cargoes, while exploring new trade routes to improve profitability.
