The Port Authority of Huelva has begun work on the project for Enclosure N4 for material from dredging on the right bank of the Huelva estuary, a strategic action that will increase the confinement capacity for dredged products by approximately 1.5 million cubic meters. The execution of this second phase will allow the first phase of the fourth enclosure to be connected with the third, optimizing the management of materials from dredging and consolidating the port of Huelva in terms of sustainability.

This action not only responds to technical and operational criteria, but also reinforces the port of Huelva’s commitment to protecting the natural environment and improving environmental quality. With this investment, the Port Authority of Huelva reaffirms its commitment to sustainable infrastructure, integrated into the 2024-2028 Investment Plan, which prioritizes energy efficiency, the reduction of environmental impact, and adaptation to climate challenges.
