With the central theme “Opening the future of shipping,” the Conference hosts shipowners, regulatory authorities, policy makers and industry leaders, who will discuss the critical challenges of global shipping: decarbonization, digital transformation, financing strategies and geopolitical dynamics.
The opening includes speeches by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, the Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hatzimanoli, the Secretary General of the IMO Mr. Arsenio Dominguez and the EU Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas. As part of the event, the Cyprus Shipping Awards 2025 are presented.
