London head of marine Simon Hayward has handed in his notice at Cambiaso Risso International, reports The Insurer. Starting his career at Thomas Miller, Hayward had been head of marine at CR International since March 2021, having worked for Cambiaso Risso Marine / Marine Aviation & General since August 2012.

Container ship Pros Hope (IMO 9319557) arrived in Chornomorsk, Ukraine, on April 21st , more than two years since any container ship had made it through the Black Sea to the war-affected port.

2005-built, Panama-flagged, 9,910 gt Pros Hope is owned by Aeterna Group of Mahe, Seychelles. It is managed by Nortada Shipmanagement LDA of Funchal, Portugal. It is entered with West P&I (European Claims team) on behalf of Aeterna Group Ltd. As of April 27th it was en route form Chornomorsk to Constanta Anchorage, Romania.

Cargo ship Pacific Achievement (IMO 9712917) ran aground at km 341.8 on the Paranà River on April 21st. Navigation was resumed on April 22nd with a draft restriction of 10.39 metres. The ship was refloated and resumed its voyage from San Lorenzo to the Delta Zone.

2016-built, Hong Kong-flagged, 34,654 gt Pacific Achievement is owned by Pacific Achievement Shipping care of manager Jong Kong Ming Wah of Hong Kong, China. It is entered with West P&I (Claims Team Hong Kong) on behalf of Pacific Achievement Shipping Co Ltd. As of April 27th it was en route from Escobar, Argentina, to Singapore, ETA May 26th.

General Cargo Ship Everwin 11 (IMO 8630992) reportedly allided with tankship Oak Express (IMO 9405916) at Batangas on April 11th. The Oak Express had docked in Mabini town’s Landoor pier when the Everwin 11 hit its port quarter due to strong sea currents and winds, causing the vessel to drag while manoeuvring, reports claimed. The Oak Express suffered dents, scratches, and punctured port quarter platings. The Everwin 11 was reported to have been taken into custody by the Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog.

1987-built, Philippines-flagged, 2,995 gt Everwin 11 is owned and managed by Everwin Pacific Shipping Corp of Manila, Philippines.

2009-built, Hong Kong-flagged, 28,985 gt Oak Express is owned by Double Bright Shipping Ltd care of Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) of Tokyo, Japan. ISM manager is Bernhard Schulte Singapore. It is entered with Steamship Mutual (Eastern Syndicate) on behalf of Double Bright Shipping Ltd. As of April 27th it was listed as stopped at Shenzhen, near Hong Kong, China.
