Integrate Marine Engineering Vessel Fleet! Capital Offshore Establishes Joint Venture

Shipping industry news, Greek offshore vessel owner Capital Offshore will acquire a 50% stake in the German offshore vessel management specialist company United Offshore Support (UOS) from Hayfin Capital Management.

It is reported that the completion of this transaction is still subject to regulatory approval. After the transaction closes, the original United Offshore Support (UOS) will be renamed “UOS Capital” and commence operations. The vessels currently owned by Capital Offshore, backed by Evangelos Marinakis, will be managed by UOS Capital.

Furthermore, the Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) and Multi-Purpose Supply Vessels (MPSV) currently on order by Capital Offshore, expected to be delivered between 2026 and 2027, will also be included under the management scope of UOS Capital.

Upon delivery of all new vessels, UOS Capital will provide comprehensive technical management, crew management, and commercial management services for a combined fleet of over 30 vessels owned by its shareholders. These vessels cover types such as Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels, Platform Supply Vessels, and Subsea Support Vessels.
