The construction of up to 10 offshore naval units is planned

Sarzana – Intermarine has won the tender issued by the General Command of the Corps of Port Captaincies, with a potential value of 130 million euros, for the construction of a class of multipurpose offshore naval units and related logistical support, which will strengthen the Port Captaincy’s intervention and maritime search and rescue capabilities. The contract, which will be signed by the first week of September, includes the immediate start of construction of the first unit of the class, while the subsequent 9 units will follow the option mechanism until the completion of a fleet of 10 naval units.
