This recognition, which was based on seven indicators such as visitor experience, activities, and weather conditions, confirms Corfu’s dynamism as a top cruise destination and strengthens its reputation in the international tourism landscape.
The high score gathered by the Port of Corfu in online visitor reviews (/5) highlighted the positive experience enjoyed by travelers and strengthened the climate of confidence towards the destination. At the same time, the significant number of activities, corresponding to 193.6 per 100,000 visitors, certifies the island’s dynamism as a destination offering rich options for recreation and culture.
Factors contributing to the distinction also include favorable climatic conditions, such as the average visibility of 11 kilometers and mild winds, which facilitate the safe and comfortable approach of cruise ships, upgrading the overall visitor experience.
On the occasion of this recognition, the CEO of O.L.K.E.
