On November 19, the 600-ton-class fishery law enforcement vessel of the Fujian Provincial Ocean and Fishery Law Enforcement Corps officially commenced construction with a steel-cutting ceremony at the Zhongshan Science Park of Jianglong Shipbuilding Technology Co., Ltd. Custom-built as a new generation of high-performance equipment tailored to the law enforcement requirements in Fujian’s maritime areas, this vessel, upon completion, will significantly enhance the level of fishery law enforcement equipment in China’s East China Sea, providing solid support for safeguarding maritime rights and interests and ensuring the order of fishery production.
The vessel has an overall length of 65.4 meters, a beam of 9.2 meters, a depth of 4.2 meters, and a full-load draft of 2.91 meters. It adopts a steel-aluminum composite structure and is propelled by three engines and three propellers. Its maximum speed is not less than 21 knots, and at a cruising speed of 16 knots, it has a range of 2,000 nautical miles and an endurance of 15 days. It can calmly handle complex sea conditions in offshore navigation areas, meeting operational requirements for normal law enforcement under Sea State 4 and safe navigation under Sea State 6, providing a solid guarantee for all-weather, large-scale patrol and supervision in the sea areas under Fujian’s jurisdiction.
The vessel is equipped with a rich array of intelligent and law enforcement configurations: an intelligent unmanned surface vehicle and a long-endurance tethered UAV system assist in long-range reconnaissance; a law enforcement water cannon with a 150-meter range enhances response capabilities; electro-optical evidence collection equipment and a remote directional loudspeaker system ensure law enforcement operations day and night; the fishery law enforcement informatization intelligent system integrates multi-source data, achieving functions such as target tracking and early warning, thereby improving law enforcement efficiency.
