The JSI Alliance, including Jumbo Maritime, SAL Heavy Lift, and its Harren Group sister, Intermarine, marked a milestone in Nigeria. It was a quartet meet of heavy-lift multipurpose vessels.
According to SAL Heavy Lift’s social media team, four vessels arrived in Nigerian ports on the same day, a first for the company, and the JSI Alliance.
In Lagos, multipurpose vessel Anna, discharged a crane, while MV Hanna wrapped up its stint at the Panther project and proceeded to discharge sand in Lagos.

The Panther project brought in a couple more vessels as MV Calypso continued its deployment for the project in Warri, while MV Trina handled reels in Onne, for the same project.

SAL Heavy said that during MV Calypso’s stay in Warri, it managed to complete a crew change. Eight crew members arrived, and eight departed, ensuring fresh energy and continuity. This was the first time its Lagos office successfully handled a crew change, marking a significant operational milestone.
