The facility spans 113,000 square meters, with an investment of 140 million euros

Shanghai – The Danish giant Maersk has inaugurated a new logistics center in Shanghai. Located in the Lin-gang area, this facility represents one of Maersk’s largest global investments in the warehousing sector with an investment exceeding 140 million dollars: the facility spans 113,000 square meters and offers 147,000 square meters of storage space. The Lin-gang Flagship Logistics Centre provides a complete range of fulfilment services, aimed at customers in China, the Asia-Pacific area, and global markets. “Our new state-of-the-art logistics center in Lin-gang represents a further milestone in the implementation of Maersk’s integrated logistics strategy in China. The country is not only the world’s largest exporter but also a key consumption market,” said Vincent Clerc, ceo of Maersk. He added: “This facility significantly strengthens our omnichannel fulfilment capabilities and further consolidates the connection between China and international markets. It is a confirmation of our commitment to continuously develop logistics solutions that help customers overcome the challenges of global trade and seize new growth opportunities.”
