The Port of Lázaro Cárdenas celebrated the inaugural arrival of the vessel Jisu Fortune, from the Port of Ningbo, China, at the Specialized Automobile Terminal (TEA), operated by SSA Mexico.

The vessel, flying the Liberian flag and operating with liquefied natural gas (LNG) as its primary fuel, stands out for its lower environmental impact by significantly reducing emissions during its voyages, aligning with international standards for sustainable operation.

On this occasion, the Jisu Fortune unloaded 5,041 vehicles from the Geely and Zeekr brands, completing the operation in 12 operational shifts (4 days). The arrival of this shipment sets a key precedent for the future operations of the automotive company in the country.

During its stay, a welcome ceremony was held and a commemorative plaque was presented to recognize this first arrival. The event was attended by representatives from Geely, as well as executives and staff from SSA Mexico, who witnessed the maneuvers and the logistical process carried out at the TEA.
