The Mining Secretariat promoted the simplification of procedures related to the transfer, reassignment, and de-listing of imported goods under the benefit of Article 21 of the Mining Investment Law (LIM), through which companies are enabled to import new or used goods, spare parts, and supplies, without paying import duties and statistical fees.
“Specific procedures were created on the TAD (Remote Procedures) platform that allow beneficiaries of the LIM to initiate cases directly and incorporate the specific documentation and information required for each process,” indicated the office that reports to the Ministry of Economy.
Tracking
This decision will facilitate and expedite the analysis of each request and will avoid the delays generated by cases initiated through the “Citizen Submission to the Executive Branch” procedure.
“In this way, the user will be able to track the case and respond to any required corrections without losing traceability,” they added.
The modification is in line with the de-bureaucratization and simplification policies promoted by the National State, especially those aimed at the economy and the relationship between the State, citizens, and companies, through technological modernization, process digitalization, and the review of excessive regulations.
