Geneva – Msc Cruises announced that the Msc Armonia will make its debut in South Africa in the 2026-27 winter season. The ship, built in 2001, will replace the Msc Opera, which will operate in the area during the 2025-26 season. After spending the summer of 2026 in the eastern Mediterranean, the Msc Armonia will begin its repositioning cruise to southern Africa on November 1, 2026. The itinerary, lasting 26 nights, will depart from Marghera to arrive in Durban, with stops in Italy, Greece, Jordan, Egypt, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion, Mozambique, and South Africa, and will also include passage through the Suez Canal.
