MSC Cruises became the latest line to revise its COVID-19 testing requirements on sailings from the US.
Unvaccinated children ages 2 and older will have to show proof of a negative test taken within three days before embarking.
And fully vaccinated passengers on cruises of six nights or longer from the US must present a negative test taken within three days before embarking.
Testing not mandated for vaccinated travelers on short cruises
Fully vaccinated passengers sailing five nights or less are recommended to test, but this is not a stipulation for boarding.
The changes take effect Aug. 8.
MSC Seashore currently sails from PortMiami and MSC Divina from Port Canaveral.
