TORINO – MSC Technology Italia, the technological division of MSC Cargo specialized in the development of software solutions and IT infrastructures to support the Group’s global logistics and maritime transport activities, has announced the launch of a major hiring plan that includes the recruitment of 200 new professionals in the Information Technology sector.

The initiative is part of a medium-to-long-term growth strategy aimed at strengthening the technological hub of Turin and enhancing highly qualified middle and senior figures. The goal is to attract motivated professionals who wish to embark on a stable and lasting career path, with concrete opportunities for professional development and a central role in the company’s technological evolution.

The new recruiting campaign represents a further step in the expansion project of the Turin office launched in 2020. Also thanks to the recent expansion and renovation works of the spaces, completed during the past year, the Lingotto hub is now confirmed as one of the main European technological centers dedicated to integrated logistics and cybersecurity. The structure, which extends over a total area of over 11,000 square meters, will host over 900 IT professionals upon completion of the hiring plan.

Selections are open, also through unsolicited applications, for various specialist roles, including software developers, software engineers and architects, testers, business intelligence specialists, and NOC (Network Operations Center) engineers. The selected professionals will join the operational teams at the Turin office, contributing to the development, monitoring, and evolution of the technological platforms that support the Group’s activities internationally.

The plan is aimed at experienced candidates, accustomed to operating in structured contexts and interested in joining a solid reality oriented towards long-term growth. To broaden the talent pool on a national scale, MSC Technology Italia has also prepared a package of measures dedicated to geographical mobility for professionals coming from other regions.

“With this hiring plan, we want to further strengthen our technological hub in Turin, making it increasingly a point of reference at a European level for innovation in the IT sector applied to logistics,” declares Roberto Musumeci, CEO of MSC Technology Italia – “Our goal is to build a center of excellence capable of attracting highly experienced professionals, who can contribute to the development of complex and highly structured systems, while at the same time supporting young talents.”

In this sense, collaboration with the best academic institutions in the area represents a strategic element to ensure a continuous exchange of skills and sustainable long-term growth.

Turin, with its educational and industrial ecosystem, is the ideal context to develop this model and consolidate MSC Cargo’s presence in Italy.”

Alongside the recruiting activity, MSC Technology continues to invest in collaboration with the main academic hubs in the area, including the Politecnico di Torino and the Università degli Studi di Torino.
