MTS Logistics held its 12th Annual Bike Tour with MTS for Autism on Saturday, June 11th. The entire MTS Logistics community including colleagues, their families, friends, and business associates across the shipping, logistics, and business industries came together to bike for the cause of autism awareness.

Following the event, MTS Logistics proudly announces that we have raised over $83,000 for autism awareness. All funds have been donated to non-profit Spectrum Works, which provides job training and opportunities for young adults with autism.

This year’s bike tour event saw participants enjoy a clear morning without any weather issues as they biked from the starting point of Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport, up to the George Washington Bridge early in the morning. Later on, a second group of participants joined early bikers back at Pier 17 as they set off on their bikes towards Brighton Beach in Brooklyn. Once participants arrived in Brighton Beach, all participants, and their families, enjoyed a healthy brunch at Tatiana Restaurant. Following brunch, bikers headed back on their bikes to Pier 17 to end the event-filled day.

Both aged 9, Selin Saka and Derin Kavas joined the MTS Logistics community in biking for autism awareness and participated in the entire event. We are so proud of our next generation’s efforts toward promoting autism awareness!
