Martin Adler has stepped down as chief executive at Dutch subsea services provider N-Sea after five years, and will be succeeded by Pim Nelemans, the company’s chief operating officer

In a statement, N-Sea said, “Mr Adler successfully led N-Sea through a period of strong growth and strategic advancement, further reinforcing the company’s position as a leading provider of integrated subsea solutions.

“Under his leadership, N-Sea has strengthened its operational capabilities, expanded its service portfolio and consistently delivered safe, reliable and value-driven solutions to its customers across the offshore energy sector.”

Mr Nelemans previously held senior leadership roles at Dockwise and Boskalis, and has extensive operational expertise in the subsea market. “I would like to thank Martin Adler for his outstanding leadership and the strong foundation he has built. Under his guidance, N-Sea has evolved into a forward-looking subsea services provider with a clear strategic direction and strong market position.”

Mr Nelemans said that, as chief executive, he plans to building on the solid foundation laid by Mr Adler, accelerate growth, and strengthen the company’s integrated service offering. “Together with the management team and our talented people, we will focus on international expansion, delivering innovative and smart solutions, maintaining operational excellence and creating long-term value for our customers, partners and shareholders,” Mr Nelemans said.

The company’s advisory board extended its sincere appreciation to Mr Adler for his leadership, vision and dedication, which, it said, have been instrumental in positioning N-Sea for continued success. Mr Adler will remain connected with the company as a shareholder and chairman of the advisory board.

Mr Adler said, “After more than five years leading N-Sea following its acquisition by CapitalChange in 2021, we have achieved the key objectives set out to accomplish, and it is the right moment to hand over leadership.

“Together, we have transformed N-Sea into a stronger, more professional, and more resilient organisation. We have expanded our capabilities across survey, UXO ID and clearance, cable repair and installation and IMR, construction and decommissioning, strengthened our position in key international markets, and rebuilt N-Sea as a recognised and trusted integrated subsea services provider.”
