OnOctober 25, NanjingTankerCorporationreleased the performance report for the third quarter of 2022, saying that the company achieved an operating income of 1.838 billion yuan in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 98.23%, mainly due to the significant decline in the supply oftransport capacity in the market after the outbreak of the Russian Ukrainian conflict, the sharp rise in the freight rates of internationalproduct oil, the significant increase in the company’s foreign trade business income, and the increase in time charter transport capacity.
NanjingTankeris mainly engaged in the transportation of domestic and foreign oil products, chemicals and gases. Since 2022, based on the important position of Russia and Ukraine in the international oil, gas and grain markets, the Russian Ukrainian conflict has caused a major disturbance to the international shipping market.
