The shipping line specialized in the South Pacific, Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL), will reorganize two of its services in the region this month.
Next week, the company will withdraw Funafuti (Tuvalu) from the rotation of its Micropac service – which connects Fiji, Tuvalu and Kiribati – and transfer it to the Intrapac circuit, which includes Fiji, Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna and Kiribati. At the same time, NPDL will temporarily remove Luganville (Espíritu Santo Island) from the Intrapac service,” stated Alphaliner.
“The Micropac service, which previously had a three-week rotation, now offers sailings every 17 days between Lautoka, Suva, Tarawa and back to Lautoka, operating with the 600 TEU vessel Southern Pearl,” it added.
The updated version of Intrapac will cover Lautoka, Suva, Funafuti (Tuvalu), Mata-Utu (Wallis Island), Leava (Futuna Island) and Lautoka, using the 519 TEU vessel Capitaine Wallis with a three-week frequency.
