The agreement provides for a daily charter rate of $25,500, from which a 5% commission is deducted, for the period from March 1 to April 30, 2027. The commencement of the charter has been scheduled for November 29, 2025.
The m/v Santa Barbara is currently on a time charter to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), at a daily charter rate of $22,000, also with a 5% commission. The new agreement reflects the improvement in the Capesize market and the strengthening of the company’s revenue for the coming years.
