Promoting the integrated, coordinated, and high-quality development of the port cluster in the nine provinces (municipalities) of the Yangtze River Economic Belt

On October 23, it was learned from the Shanghai Port Association that, to promote the integrated, coordinated, and high-quality development of the port cluster in the nine provinces (municipalities) of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Joint Conference of the Port (Shipping) Associations of the nine provinces (municipalities) for 2025 will be held in Shanghai from December 1 to 4.

This conference, hosted by the Shanghai Port Association, has the theme “Green Intelligence, Collaborative Innovation—Building a New Pattern for High-Quality Port Development”. It will adopt a format combining “thematic forums + field activities”. The thematic forums will closely focus on four core areas: the coordinated development of smart ports, low-carbon and environmental protection in green ports, port supporting supply chains, and the new ecosystem of smart water transport. It aims to create multiple forum events, including the Smart Port and Industrial Collaborative Development Forum (main forum), the Digital Intelligence Empowerment · Green Port Sustainable Development Forum, the “Intelligent Connectivity of All Things, Ports Linking the World” Forum for Building a Resilient and Efficient New Ecosystem for Smart Water Transport, and the Port Supply Chain Collaboration and Supporting Services Upgrade Forum. These will cover 40 popular industry topics. Through precise analysis and in-depth discussion, the conference will provide key guidance for solving the pain points and difficulties in industry development and accurately capturing future trends, thereby aiding innovative breakthroughs and high-quality development in the port and shipping sector.

Representatives from port and shipping associations, port enterprises, and related institutions across various provinces and cities will attend the meeting, jointly building a comprehensive, multi-level exchange and cooperation platform and collaboratively creating a new engine for regional shipping upgrades.
