Inmarsat Maritime, part of Viasat (NASDAQ: VSAT), is deploying its NexusWave connectivity solution on selected vessels managed by Northern Marine Management Ltd (NMM) and operated by Stena Bulk and Proman Stena Bulk. The initiative forms part of NMM’s strategy to improve crew welfare through advanced communication services.
The rollout builds on existing onboard connectivity and addresses the growing demand for high-speed internet access, which is increasingly critical for attracting and retaining talent and supporting operational efficiency.

This enhancement reflects NMM’s commitment to promoting well-being, personal development, and job satisfaction among its workforce, reinforcing its position as an employer of choice.
By integrating NexusWave, NMM strengthens its connectivity strategy for selected vessels, supporting both crew welfare and operational performance.
