1. Navigation & Pilotage Requirements

1. Pilotage is mandatory for:

3. Speed restrictions:
   • Inner harbor: ≤8 knots
   • Approach channels: ≤10 knots
   • Within 500m of terminals: ≤5 knots

   Violations subject to TW$50,000-200,000 fines

2. Cargo Operations Protocols

1. Dangerous goods handling:
   • Class 1 explosives: Night operations prohibited
   • Gases (Class 2.1/2.3): Must use designated terminals (KT1-KT4)
   • Radioactive materials: Requires 72hr pre-approval
