The operation integrates Tornado’s sporting tradition with Novamarine’s technological innovation to strengthen the luxury nautical segment
Olbia – Novamarine, an Italian company specializing in the design and construction of high-performance leisure boats, has acquired the historic Tornado Yachts brand, known for its essential-design sports yachts and significant sporting victories, including the famous Venice-Montecarlo regatta.
The operation, carried out without negatively impacting the company’s financial structure, is part of a plan to relaunch the Tornado brand, which includes the production and marketing of historic models, such as the Tornado 38, alongside the development of new sports and luxury boats. Production will be concentrated in the Olbia facilities, where Novamarine can integrate the most advanced technologies with Tornado’s established expertise.
The company emphasized that the acquisition represents a strategic step to expand its presence in the international market, consolidating its position in the premium segment and broadening its customer base through an offering that combines tradition and innovation.
