ONE has released a new video of its office in Singapore.
The tour starts at the Japanese carrier’s entrance, designed to boldly present ONE’s magenta colour, and leads on to a container meeting room.
Its spacious workspace also features a boardroom, operation room, and an ‘ocean café’.
ONE’s Kosuke Wada, Senior Vice President, BPIT Strategy and Innovation, said that the company designed its office to allow meetings to be held anywhere and to inspire collaboration between colleagues and with the industry.
Commenting on the reason behind ONE’s office selection, Wada stated: “The first thing we wanted for our office was a sea view.
“Since we’re a container shipping company, we made sure that our visitors could see the sea and ships from the window.”
ONE began operations on April 1, 2018,after receiving approvals for the merger of Japanese carrier lines Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK)to create the sixth largest container shipping company in the world.
