On September 10, 2025, Oceandiva and Bank für Schiffahrt (BFS) gave a powerful follow-up to their already existing relationship with the financing of the Oceandiva Nova: the 100% electrically powered event ship that has received the prestigious Platinum Green Award certificate worldwide. This new milestone not only marks a next step in a trusted partnership, but also a joint commitment to a greener, innovative future on the water.
Since 2023, Oceandiva and BFS have been collaborating on special projects on the water. After the successful financing projects of the Oceandiva Original and Futura, the Nova now also forms part of the joint course towards sustainable growth. With this, BFS once again demonstrates its vision for the future of the maritime sector, in which innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
The ship was designed with a clear focus on sustainability and innovation. The Oceandiva Nova is 100% electrically powered and has a battery capacity of 2.2 MW. These achievements earned the Nova the prestigious Platinum Green Award certificate, as well as the Silver Technology Leader Award during the prestigious ESG Shipping Awards 2025: recognitions for ships that excel in environmentally responsible business and technological innovation.
