Ocean Network Express (ONE) announced that it has postponed the opening of the new branch in Greece, intended to handle the Japanese shipping line’s operations in the European country. The office was scheduled to begin operations in November.
In a notice to its customers, the shipping company stated that “we regret to inform you that there will be a delay in our original schedule regarding the launch of our new branch, Ocean Network Express (Europe) Limited, branch in Greece”.
“The new ONE Greece branch, which will handle all sales, operations, and customer service activities, is expected to begin operating by the end of this year. We will inform you of the actual start-up date, including the change of vessels, voyages, and the local contact details, once all formalities are concluded as soon as they are confirmed,” the company stated.
Furthermore, ONE specified that “ENA Shipping Agency SA will continue to act as the designated agent for ONE in Greece until the activities are transferred to the new ONE Greece branch in December”.
“We greatly appreciate the continued support and commitment of ENA Shipping during this transition period, ensuring uninterrupted service. We maintain our full commitment to the Greek market and the Mediterranean region in general,” the firm emphasized.
